Nueva York es para los turistas, además de los estadounidenses, la ciudad que quizás ofrezca la mayor oferta de espectáculos del mundo: anoche, por ejemplo, fue la posibilidad única de ver a Ringo Starr actuando por única vez en el famoso e histórico Radio City Music Hall.

El ex baterista de The Beatles, de 84 años, actuó junto a su All Starr Band, integrada en parte por músicos de Toto (Africa) y Men at Work (Down Under) como parte de su gira por Estados Unidos. Se trata de cuenta con Steve Lukather, Colin Hay, Warren Ham, Hamish Stuart, Gregg Bissonette y Buck Johnson en los teclados.

Además de algunos de sus temas solistas, como “It Don’t Come Easy” y “Photograph” , cantó clásicos de los Beatles: “Octopu’s Garden”, “Boys”, “Yellow Submarine”, “I Want to be Your Man”, cerrando el show con a “With Little Help From My Friends”.

Con cartel Sold Out, el británico demostró la vigencia de una música que cambió la historia del mundo para siempre.

Ringo Starr revived Beatlemania in New York
